About Maxie

Meet Maxie, a six+ year spayed female Chihuahua with a heart as big as her personality. Her sweet and cuddly nature is sure to melt your heart, while her independent spirit will leave you in awe. Shyness may be her initial response, but once she warms up to you, she's all love and loyalty. This precious baby came into the shelter with her one-week-old puppies and was so very scared, but she's learning to trust and love! Maxie is also quite smart, quickly picking up on pad training and other commands. Her mellow demeanor makes her the perfect companion for those seeking a calm and comforting presence. With Maxie, you're not just adopting a pet, you're gaining a loyal friend who will offer unconditional love and companionship. Her unique blend of intelligence, loyalty, and affection makes her the perfect addition to any loving home. She's going to be your best friend! All our fosters are part of the family.
