Last night around 7 p.m., a white truck opened its door, let out this dog, and then drove off. I was walking my two dogs, and while I saw the whole thing-it was the first time I had actually witnessed someone abandoning their pet-I went into shock and unfortunately didn't get their plate information. This is the fifth set of dogs dumped at my complex over the last several months. Luckily, my neighbors and I have banded together and found them all loving homes, some even choosing the foster fail route, but at this point, none of us can take this guy in. He is a young male, mixed breed (not staffy mixed) who is very kind and a bit goofy. He's very sweet, just needs a bit of direction. The two males who were in the truck may have spoken Spanish around him, so it could be my language extent barrier preventing commands from catching on. He's been very good about leash and potty training in the 24 hours I've had him, though. He has also been good around my dogs & cats, though it's just been in small amounts. He has been sectioned off from them for the majority of his stay here since I don't know his shot history.
