About Rocket

Rocket is an energetic dog who needs lots of love and attention. He has a very big personality and will give you side-eye constantly. He has been with his owner for all of his life, he is trained but recently has had some behavioral issues. He needs a home with a yard and an owner who has time to work on his behavior and give him the attention he deserves. Recently moved from Arizona where he got Valley Fever and now has to take medication the rest of his life. He does well on it and it's visible when we haven't been consistent with it, he becomes lethargic and he starts limping. He is a great dog but he recently did have an incident when I was bit and I don't feel comfortable around him, he needs a home where he can run around and get all of his energy out. He loves playing fetch and will destroy most toys he receives, but he does have an 'emotional support pillow' that he loves. He won't always stay still for long but after he runs around for awhile he does love cuddling and getting all the pets and love.
