About Gus

Our family needs to rehome our mini Aussie, Gus, given that we now have young children and that is not compatible with his behavioral needs. Gus has been diagnosed with fear based reactivity and is on behavioral medication to manage his symptoms. He has also been thru extensive behavioral modification training which has helped to a degree, but we still feel it necessary to find him a different home to ensure his continued success and happiness, and our kids' safety. We love him very much - he's a wonderful dog who is goofy, energetic, smart, and very snuggly when he's not triggered/frightened. Should be in an home with only adults that has access to a private backyard. Experienced owner a must who is willing to commit to continuing his behavioral training with a no-fear approach and can afford the ongoing behavioral treatment and medication.
