Looking to rehome my recently adopted blue Aussie due to aggression issues. He cannot be in a home with children. Most of the time he is very funny and sweet and is well trained, but he startles easily with noises and bites when stressed. He walks on a leash and harness, never has accidents in the house, eats only dog food and does not beg, and is great with our cat and has been great with other cats. I have taken him to the dog bath at the pet store and wash him with no problems, he loves to play with his toys, and loves to have his belly rubbed. He could be a great companion with more behavior training, but I cannot keep him in my house with my child. He also does not like the location of my house as the traffic scares him and the hospital next to me has a helipad and he is afraid of the sound of the helicopter. He would do great on the country with a fenced in yard. I am afraid if he bites my child again he will be euthanized. He has also bitten me while re-directing him in stressful situations. I have had him for a few months and he bit my pants once and didn't get though to the skin and once he bit me hard enough to break skin on my calf. He really is such a sweet boy and deserves a chance. Loves long walks, sleeps well, and no health issues at all.
