About Oreo

Oreo is a male Great Pyrenees/ Bernese Mountain dog mix and is around two years old. Oreo loves to play, go on walks, and seems to get along with most other dogs. We can't say for sure how he is with cats. Our Kennel Manager has let him look at our cats through the cat room's viewing window and briefly had him on a leash in the cat room. Based on these few interactions, it appears that Oreo just wants to play with the cats and isn't aware of how big and scary he looks to them . Since arriving at our facility, Oreo has been working on overcoming his fear of being contained and has gotten much better about going into a kennel. We would prefer to have Oreo go to a home with a secure fence since he does have escape artist tendencies.
