About Red Eared Slider

This is Leonardo the turtle! He is a 6 year old red-eared slider, he is about 7 inches long. He was originally rescued from a flooded pet store during hurricane Harvey. My boyfriend moved to Portland with him from Texas several years ago and has been caring for him his whole life. We are moving and will not be able to care for him anymore. Because he is an invasive species here we are wanting to make sure he goes to a great, life-long home with someone who understands how to care for a turtle. We would be happy to waive the fee for the perfect fit if necessary. He is a sweet guy and is very interactive & enjoys exploring/being around his people. He doesn't care much for going outside but likes roaming if you let him. Flying to Portland the first time around was really hard on him.
