About Holly

Hello all, we are located in West Bend Wi and are looking to rehome our 9ish year old female Chihuahua Mix. (We do not know what she is mixed with as she was a rescue) She is up to date on all vaccinations, she is also fixed. Her name is Holly, although it breaks our hearts to have to rehome her it's something we feel necessary as she is not good with young kids. And we now have 2 young kids..... We have had Holly for the past 7ish years, and she has been a great dog! She is trained well, comes when called, loves to smile, and LOVES sunshine and blankets. Seriously if you have a blanket anywhere she will burrow under it. With her being a rescue she unfortunately does have a past (her foster was not sure exactly what it was) over the years we have determined there was abuse, and possibly by a man. So she can be very skiddish and a bit protective when males med to LG built men are around (she hates when they where hats) Like I said she's been such a terrific companion, just since having our kids we have come to realize she does not do well with them(she does well with older kids like pre-teen and up)... she does well with other dogs (as long as she can be Alpha) and she has also lived with cats before too. If I can answer anymore questions please let me know. We would love for her to go to loving home to hopefully live out her many remaining years.
