About Carly

We are proud to introduce....Carly! Carly is a wonderful girl who was truly in need of our help. She found herself in a shelter with more dogs than adopters. Both of her puppies died of parvo in the shelter and Carly sat there for several months and no one wanted her. Carly has several scars on her body and even has a indentation in her skull! We can only imagine what this poor girl has been through! She's a resilent girl who is wonderfully behaved! She is good with other dogs and well mannered in her foster home! She's good at adoption events and in public places. If you want to adopt a really great dog who truly deserves a happy ending, Carly is your girl. We adore her and are so excited to help her find a great home! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
