About Axel

Meet Axel. Our family took in this surrendered pup from someone who would no longer care for him. We know very little about his background but are hoping to get him into a foster program or forever home. He is Shepard mix who is about a year old. He is up to date on his shots and we are happy to pay for him to be neutered. Axel is a goofy puppy that just wants love and to play. Axel is really good with people and loves everyone he has met. He melts into your lap like the big baby he is. He is very eager to please and is gentle when interacting with people and food. So far, he appears to be house and possibly crate trained. He walks very well on a leash and has quickly caught onto learning commands. Axel has shown reactivity to other dogs and has some separation anxiety. However, he is easily redirected. We believe he was not well socialized as a puppy but seems to be very trainable. At this time, Axel will need a home where he is the only dog. Unfortunately, we have others dogs at home and cannot keep him long term. We are searching for a foster home or potential adopter as soon as possible.
