About Clyde

Clyde is a 10 year old chunky monkey! We are working on getting his weight down! He and his sister, Bonnie, came in to rescue with a very sad story. Bonnie and Clyde's dad is a disabled man who is going blind. He knew he would not be able to take care of his babies. He went to the shelter, in tears, and asked that they please help place his babies. Luckily, the amazing Animal Control officer knew just who to call! She assured him that his beloved's would be taken care of and placed in to wonderful homes. Bonnie and Clyde are not bonded and can be adopted separately or together. Clyde is a laid back older fella. He loves to be with his person and will follow you every where you go. If you are looking for a low maintenance buddy, Clyde is the guy for you. Clyde appears to be house broken. However, as with most male dogs, he may try to mark his territory. Patience and consistency is key to help him adjust and decompress. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE DO NOT KNOW CAT COMPATIBILITY. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET. REMEMBER, THEY MUST HAVE TIME TO DECOMPRESS. If you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please Google it.
