About Bonnie

Bonnie is approx. 10 years old and 9 pounds. She came in to rescue with a brother and a very sad story. Bonnie and Brother, Clyde, were taken to the shelter by their disabled dad who was going blind. He knew he was no longer going to be able to take care of them and asked the shelter for help in finding his beloved pups a new home. The Dad was in tears. Luckily for him, the Animal Control officer knew just who to call!! She assured him that his beloved's would be taken care of. So, here we are with Bonnie and Clyde. They are not bonded and can be adopted separately. Unless, of course, you are looking for 2 chihuahuas! If that is the case, we will happily give a discounted adoption rate. Bonnie is not your typical little yappy dog. Just the opposite. She is very quiet and you barely know she is around until bed time. Then, she is super snuggler extraordinaire. She loves to be right beside you, all night, and never moves an inch. Bonnie appears to be house trained and knows how to use pee pads. However, an accident is bound to happen during decompression in a new home. Due to her small size, we prefer for Bonnie to go to a home with older, dog savvy children. If you are looking for a bestie to watch a movie with or travel with, Bonnie is your girl!! WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE DO NOT KNOW CAT COMPATIBILITY. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET.
