Meet Oakley 9 week old Lab mix puppy **LOCAL Miami or Broward ADOPTION ONLY** Please apply only if you live in South Florida and are willing to drive this precious pup to ALL follow-up appointments, including her spay (at 6 months) and booster vaccines in Miami or Broward. My name is Oakley and I'm a 9-WEEK-old Lab mix noy weighing 8lbs. I'm a small puppy learning all about this big world and would love to find my FUR-ever home where my new human can continue to work with me to be the best pup I can be. Many have said that I am 'stinking adorable' and I'm pretty sure that is a good thing. I HOPE you enjoy reading more about me! ��%8F General Behavior: Oakley is a very active puppy and craves attention. His foster describes him as adventurous, smart, independent, very playful, athletic and communicative. This boy is a social butterfly who will be the life of the party! ��%8F Likes & Dislikes: Oakley cannot live without her toys and a sibling . . . the more, the better! he LOVES to chew on toys and will need to be monitored so he doesn't chew on things that he shouldn't. ��%8F Training: OAKLEY is a little bitty boy(with a little bitty bladder), so his new human will need to work with him on housetraining and continue taking him outside for potty breaks every few hours. He will need someone to work with his on leash training and his basic manners. Oakley does well in the car and loves car rides. ��%8F Medical: Oakley is a healthy pooch who will just require his monthly heartworm and flea prevention, like any other pup. he will also need to be neutered (at 6 months) and receive his vaccine booster shots. ��%8F Other Animals: Oakley is super playful and loves his sibling, so would do well with another young pup in the home. ( MANDATORY) He loves playing with his brother Harry in his foster home. He hasn't been around cats, but we think he would be okay with them. ��%8F Children: Oakley should be fine with respectful children of all ages. However, due to his small size (and puppy teeth), small children should always be supervised by the grown up in the home. ��%8F Home: Oakley stays in a secure area in his foster home and will need to continue to do so to keep him safe from chewing items he should not. His brother Cosmo is the little instigator in their foster home, so it's possible he will stop this chewing behavior without his influence. Oakley is also a very vocal puppy, so a single-family home would be best. She may be a bit too noisy for an apartment/townhome where he could disrupt the neighbors. Oakley would prefer his new human be home more often than not. After a hard day of play, this boy will sleep in his dog bed at night. ��%8F Overall: Oakley is an enthusiastic 'wiggle-butt' who will be sure to provide you with lots of love and laughter.
