Duke was wondering the streets of WV as a stray. He is a young Treeing Walker Coonhound tri color hound. He was taken in by someone but was chained for a few months. He finally was able to get a foster home by a Good Samaritan. Nice folks in WV have gotten him neutered and updated on his vaccines. His Heartworm test is negative. He was treated for Lyme disease, he had never had any care before. He is a young active hound, will need exercise, fenced yard would be great, or a rural property where he can run and get energy out. He does have a hound dog bark, so no busy neighborhoods. He has had no exposure to cats. He loves all people and can be tested with children if interest, he has a good nature. He was very skinny when found, but now weighs between 50 and 60 pounds since neuter. He is a happy, funny fellow. He would love and would do best with another dog friendly dog to play with. Hound experience is a bonus. Please feel free to call or email to ask any questions. He has support and homes anywhere can be considered for him. Thank you for looking at Duke, the best good boy!
