About Oreo Shake

Oreo Shake is a four year old Mini Minimal Merle neutered Aussie. He is pretty plump in his weight. He last weighed in at 52 pounds and should be closer to 40. He is a lazy, kind soul who loves people and needs an active person / family to jumpstart his weight loss and are willing to provide measured feedings and minimal extra snacks. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash and is a good car rider. Oreo Shake is a typical Velcro Aussie and prefers not to see his people leave but is not overly anxious about it just really excited when they come back! He loves to snuggle. He is safe with adult cats, and other dogs. He came into rescue because he uses his voice to communicate. This is not a bad thing just often misunderstood. Aussies often are vocal in their communication and play, and if someone isn't familiar with this may misinterpret his behavior. Oreo Shake listens well to his human and follows commands really well. Oreo Shake is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm and tick disease negative and on preventatives. He will need a herding breed experienced home who understands normal behaviors for the breed and no small children in the home but 10 and up should be fine.
