Urgent Foster Needed for Two Sweet German Shepherds... Looking for the Owner. Jennifer with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue found two beautiful German Shepherds, approximately 3-5 years old, walking in the middle of Dufferin Ave. This makes 5 dogs that she's found in a month. These gentle souls wouldn't hurt a fly. They were so grateful for the help, giving Jennifer kisses and showing their affectionate nature. Both dogs appear to be dog-friendly, not reactive to other dogs, and have fly strikes on their ears. They are deeply bonded and must remain together. The male shepherd had deep lacerations on his legs, and Jennifer had to take him to the vet today. Unfortunately, she had to use the money meant for another dog in rescue to cover the $400 vet bill for this shepherd. Now Jennifer is in a bind, still needing funds to care for her rescue dog. The male shepherd's situation is critical...the vet has advised that he must remain in an indoor kennel or stay inside to prevent his wounds from becoming infected if he lays on dirt. His leg is swollen and he had to get numerous staples to close the wounds. Without a foster, this could lead to another costly vet bill, which Jennifer simply cannot afford. Even if it's just the male shepherd at this time that you can provide indoor space/kennel so he can heal. He's more critical! Please help!! If these are your dogs, there will be no charge for the vet bill, because sadly, more than likely, they won't be claimed.
