8 years old this past August, Beau is a goofy, mostly laid back guy. He loves walks and does very well on his gentle leader. He knows a number of commands/tricks, including sit, stay, cage, down, spin, and shake. He is fully housebroken and has been for years. While he is crate trained he can be left home alone unattended for a couple of hours once he is familiar with the space. He is prone to ear infections as most bassets are, and struggles with under arm yeast infections. His nails are long as trimming them is a battle his current owner cannot currently handle.
