About Axl

Reason for Rehoming: Looking for a Permanent home. Axl is a retriever mix who is approximately 9 months old. Very smart and loving. Axl still loves to gnaw on bones and play, especially with rough and tumble boys. He hardly ever barks unless he needs to communicate, or for alerting owners, even at night. He cries very little and understands commands. He is potty trained and sometimes will let you know when he needs to go. He will also sit on command and is very quiet. However, Axl is not formally trained or leash or crate trained. He is walkable and is sociable with other dogs. He has a tender, teachable heart who desires to please and be loved. Axl has experienced a lot of emotional trauma and abandonment in his young life. At least 2 owners before they abandoned him and our busy family can't provide the play and attention this precious pup deserves. Axl would be a wonderful addition to a caring, loving, and patient family who knows how to train a young dog. Are you that family? If so, please contact us.
