About Arthur

Sweet Arthur was apparently dropped off and was reluctant leave our house on 9/29/24. We took him to the vet to check for a chip. He is chipped but not registered, which to us means he was meant to be a pet. He is heart worm positive and being treated. We paid for him to get UTD on shots and heart worm treatment. The vet did not disclose the extreme necessity of crating and leash walking only until after he was initially treated. We cannot keep him. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently being treated and another surgery coming October 24th which will leave her with weight restrictions and she'll have drains. He does great in a crate. Sleeps through the night and hasn't used the bathroom in it either. He knows shake and sit. He enjoys car rides and is easy to leash walk. We think someone has previously taught him this. Any help is greatly appreciated. He ultimately needs to be rehomed ASAP.
