About Barley

Meet 10 year old, 10 pound sweet, mellow Barley. A Yorkshire Terrier who was found as a stray in awful, awful condition. He would be a wonderful addition to any home; however; if a person wants a dog good for long hikes, he might not be the ideal dog. He would be the ideal dog for a couch potato type person! The Yorkie personality definitely comes out at mealtime, meaning he has little patience if his food is not given to him as quickly as he wants it! Barley is potty trained, sleeps beautifully through the night, walks nicely on a leash, is a good car passenger, gets on just fine with cats, other dogs, adults and kids. He loves to be near his Foster human but is not overly needy. We all think he is absolutely adorable. He does bark sometimes when his Foster Mom is not home so no apartment living for this little guy! Barley is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
