ello ya'll �'�| my name is 'Freckles' and I'm a special Brittany pup. If you are looking for a big goofy pup, I'm your guy! Update from Foster Mom: 'This pup is a love bug who wants to hug you with his paws (isn't that how you do it?) and loves to be near your side.' 'Freckles is your athletic kind of guy - super high energy, loves to go on trail hikes, play, and run around the yard with rubber chew toys. This is followed up by soaking in a pool of water or water bucket (he's not picky).' 'Freckles practices his new commands daily: sit, down, stand, place/free, off, leave it, stop, wait and kennel. He's learning to walk on a leash using an easy lead to keep him from pulling. This puppy loves to play whack-a-mole with his paws and does this with his foster Brittany sister who's learned to love it. Freckles would love to have a really big back yard - he needs room to run, play, and chase butterflies. He's a loving, goofy boy who wants to hang out with his person and follow them around.' 7/1/24 UPDATE: Freckles has been diagnosed with a mild case of Cerebellar ataxia/hypoplasia, also known as canine ataxia. Dogs with this condition have abnormal balance and coordination, and an uncoordinated gait that resembles a 'toy soldier'. His condition is not curable but it won't get any worse and it sure isn't slowing him down. Freckles is 1.5 years old, housebroken, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventative. He has been neutered and microchipped. This sweet boy is looking for his forever home.
