Hey there, everyone! I'm Leo, a sweet, friendly, and easy-going 55-pound dark Golden Retriever mix fella who was born about April 2023. Simply put, I'm a gentle giant who gets along with everyone -- adults, kids, and other dogs. Goldens are outgoing, reliable, trustworthy, easily trainable, and eager-to-please -- qualities that make us ideal family dogs. We take a joyous, playful approach to life and maintain our puppyish behavior into adulthood. We're energetic, powerful dogs who enjoy outdoor play. We're bred and built to retrieve waterfowl for hours on end, so swimming and fetching are our natural pastimes. I'll require regular exercise to keep me physically and mentally fit. I need a new home because my owner didn't have enough time to spend with me. So I was surrendered to Miss Donna with the confidence that she'd find me the perfect forever home. In the second chapter of my life, I hope to experience running and playing as well as being involved right in the middle of my family's activities. A home that has a pool gets bonus points in my book! Come meet me today! I'd just love to be your jogging partner and play Frisbee or Chuck-It with you at the park. I hope we can re-write new chapters in our lives together. Leo is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
