URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Tyler, TX Meet Maverick! He is an 10 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 52 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Maverick is good with younger children and cats! He hasn't been tested around older children. He doesn't live with dogs, but is good with dogs outside of the home! He isn't housebroken or crate-trained. Within the past few weeks, Maverick has stated to grab his owner's arm when they leave, because he gets anxious and senses that they are leaving. He bit her stomach on 9/12 while they were in the backyard. He acts out because of his lack of socialization and being over stimulated. This results in him barking, nipping, and jumping on people. The owner is surrendering him because their landlord doesn't allow dogs inside of the home, so he lives outside. They are also expecting a baby and don't have the time to provide the attention that he needs, due to their busy schedules. He needs to find his furever home by 11/3! If you think you can provide a great home for Maverick, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in helping placing Maverick.
