Thank you for having alook. We took this guy in after his original owners had moved and abandoned him. We know of his upbringing due to our friends living next door and are aware that he was heavily neglected. Since taking him in 6 months ago we've addressed his basic needs, getting his weight up, getting him clean, and addressed a major skin infection. He's very calm, happy to be included pup. He always did well with my friends children and do well the children in our home. He gets along great with other dogs and even when our dogs have not always welcomed him, he takes it really well. He adjusted really well to being in doors after being left outside for six years. He uses a doggy door now for the restroom but prior did well when we did leash breaks. We have not had concerns of hi. Chewing or getting into things and often will let him free roam in the home when we are away for the day with no issues. He does have some tooth decays that is believed to be from rock chewing. We add water to his dog food currently and that has helped alot. He currently eats twice a day and has appeared to get to a healthy weight. We took him in because we didn't want him getting put down as this guy was loved from a far being next door to our friends for years. However it was always with the hopes to get him a forever home. We have two other dogs already and are unable to sustain a third dog permanently at this time. He is gentle, quiet, and really needs a soft place to land for the remainder of his years. He does love walks but does okylay with also resting majority of the time. He loves to play and eat lettuce, tends to be softer for him. He howls at sirens but other then that is not a very vocal dog. When he wants something he does gently put his paw on you. But not in an aggressive hands way.
