This is Elsa who is a sweet and loving cat. She loves attention and will headbutt your hand or arm when wanting to be pet. She is great with kids as we got her as a kitten and she has been around my daughter since she was 4 years old. She also spends most of her time in my daughter's room. She is mainly an indoor cat, but occasionally likes to go outside to eat grass. She is kind of skiddish though and tries to run back inside when she hears loud noises. The reason we are rehoming her is because we live in an apartment and unfortunately she has been having some behavior problems. She tends to use the bathroom outside of her litter box. This has been ongoing for a couple years now. When it first started, I found that it was because she didn't like having a covered box. It got better. It then started happening again. I took her to the last year in July to rule out any health reasons (this was also the last time she had her vaccines). I have since added another litter box and tried feliway to reduce stress. When she was a kitten my roomates had a male cat and this was not an issue. We have also had a small dog, who she was alright with as well. We do now have another female cat, whom she does not like. She will often growl and hiss, which is why I think her issues may be because of stress with other animals. Because of her long hair, she also tends to get hairballs quite often, but is helped with medicine if given on a regular basis. I really wish to rehome her to a loving home where she would be happier.
