URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! This is a very sad story. There are two beautiful Belgian Malinois, mother and daughter, living at a boarding facility in the high desert. We call them Callie and Kona. 2 and half years ago, Callie's owner drove to this facility and tied her up to the fence and drove away. The owner of the facility brought her in and put her in one of the empty kennels. Well guess what!! She was pregnant!! We are not sure what happened to the other puppies or if Kona was the only one that survived. Poor baby was born in an outdoor boarding facility. Recently, an employee of the facility asked Jennifer if she could help rehome them. Kona we estimate to be about 2 year old now and Callie about 3 years old. From what we can tell, Callie loves the water. She is always splashing in her water bowl. Kona likes to carry around a garbage lid that's in the kennel. There is really not a whole lot for them to do in a kennel so they found something to entertain themselves. These two dogs are sooooo friendly and sweet and long for attention. I went inside their kennel and they just gave me all kinds of kisses and hugs. Please research the breed. They are very intelligent and easy to train. This breed absolutely needs a yard to run and play. It breaks my heart that Kona has lived her whole life here and her mother most of hers. How could someone just abandon their dog and never look back? If you are interested in fostering to get these babies out of this facility where they live outdoors in a kennel. If you want to foster or want to adopt, please call or text me at (714) 366-8170 to arrange for a meet and greet. Adoption process must be 100% approved.
