About Dante

Dante is a ~10 mo old sweetheart who has been well loved in his current home. Unfortunately, he and his current owner are not well matched, and it has become increasingly challenging for her to keep up with his needs due to her busy schedule. He loves other dogs, very well socialized with dogs/people and is very friendly towards both. He has not lived with kids, but has shown no signs of aggression towards kids. He got along with cats when he encountered them. He is a typical young dog for his breed and is still learning to regulate his energy. He is a sweet and good boy. The ideal home for Dante would have a large fenced yard and another dog (or even two) or a family of at least 2 ppl. He's super smart and a quick learner and loyal to his people. He loves people!! He knows many basic cues. Dante is a happy, playful and high energy pup and it is important that his new home is with folks with an active lifestyle and who have experience with dogs (esp. herding breeds)
