About Bagel

Bagel is a very active kitty that loves to curl up in your lap and follow you around the house. I say his compatibility is unknown, because his brother is the only cat he's ever been around, and he starts scuffs often. This is absolutely because they are both not neutered, but I don't know how he would react if he was. I have been trying to get an appointment but now that my Father-In-Law is moving, I don't have enough time to get one before he will need to be rehomed. He is skittish around new people, particularly children, but eventually will warm up. He has a propensity for using his claws and biting, as that's how he plays and doesn't quite understand that that's too rough. Belly rubs also cause him to get uncomfortable and ready to defend himself. Other than his skittish and roughness, he's a very dependent cat and needs to know every single thing you do throughout the day in the house. He's very dominant over his brother but they do occasionally have moments of calmness between them. Bagel is like a baby, if you're sitting at the computer he wants to be in your arms. If you have a chair you always sit in, he also wants to sit in your chair. I have begun keeping another chair next to me while working so he can sit next to me and still feel like he's getting the attention he wants.
