About Beanie

Adoption Fee: $350
Australian Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

This pretty girl is Beanie. She is an Aussie mix. She is 2.5 years old and weighs 70 pounds. Beanie knows her basics: sit, stay and off.%A0She is house trained and knows all about using a dog door. Beanie starts shy when meeting people. She does warm up and adores kids. She snuggles with the kids in her current home. Beanie is good with dogs near her size or larger. She isn't a fit for a home with smaller dogs. Beanie is good on leash but will bark at small dogs, especially if they bark at her. She likes walks but prefers a quieter neighborhood. Quiet suburbs or even a more rural environment would likely suit her more. Beanie is a good girl at dog daycare and mostly does her own thing. Once in a while she finds a dog that she will play with. She would be just fine as an only dog or with another calm dog around her size. Beanie loves to chase a ball. She isn't the best about bringing it back to you, getting distracted and dropping the ball or just playing keep away. Tennis balls are her favorite, and she also loves water. She adores the beach, running through the waves. She also enjoys having a pool at home and will lay down on the top step. Beanie is excellent as a road trip buddy. She lays down and chills on the ride. Beanie can be anxious, and her big fear is a garbage truck. That's why a quieter home and environment with confidence building will suit her nicely. She's very food motivated and really loves yak cheese chews. Beanie is a huge lovebug. She loves snuggles and always seeks out affection. She's a lap dog in a%A0big dog's body. She's also gorgeous, people always comment on how pretty she is. Beanie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Burbank, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
