About Brownie

Adoption Fee: $350
Mountain Cur / Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Brownie is a Mountain Cur that will be 3 in January. She weighs about 55 pounds. She is fairly healthy. She does suffer from incontinence that the vet says is probably from when she was spayed - we do have her on supplements and have noticed a 98% reduction in little dribbles. She loves her 'Chuck it' ball and elk antlers, likes car rides and chasing squirrels. With the Cur in her, she does enjoy using her nose. We've introduced her to 'nose work' and tracking but have not been able to spend a lot of time practicing. Brownie's love language is absolutely touch, she is perfectly content cuddling all day long. Brownie is a rescue and before we got her, spent about a year in a kennel. With that, she doesn't particularly care for other dogs, it would be best for her to be the only dog in the house. She does like to be lazy and sleeps about 13 hours through the night with some naps during the day but she does love to be outside burning her energy off as well as baking in the sun. We thought we would be able to walk her enough in our townhome community but it is evident that she gets bored with that. We've also had some other recent life changes and don't feel like we can be the dog-parents she deserves. She's a very loving dog that is well behaved and we're just trying to make sure that she goes to a good home. We will provide: 3 beds 1 hammock 1 crate blankets 1 month worth of food and treats (food is individually packaged raw chicken meals that are stored in freezer) Food bowls Plenty of toys Multiple leashes and a seat belt for the car poop bags Scent containers (for nose work) 2 separate vehicle seat covers (1 for an SUV and 1 for a truck) Basically, the new dog starter kit
