About Leo

Leo, the little 15 pound Shih Tzu mix is here to steal your hearts! This 3 year old boy is patiently waiting for his new family to scoop him up and never let him go. Leo is a lover, not a fighter and will gladly follow you around all day, sit next you and on you and engage in a little play after he settles into your home. This boy is a good eater, he does well on a leash- but he will let you know where he wants to go and at what pace, he likes his squeaky toys and he does well with other dogs. He might benefit from having another dog in the house to show him the lay of the land, to reinforce his house training and to make him feel comfortable when his people aren't around. Leo is crate trained and loves cats! Leo doesn't like sudden movements towards him (but who does!) so small children might not be the best fit and he is working on the ability to do stairs.
