Meet Ginny, a beautiful and affectionate 2-year-old girl who radiates happiness and charm. Rescued as a stray, her background remains a mystery, but her lovable personality shines through every day. Weighing just under 40 pounds, Ginny is on the smaller side for her breed, making her an ideal companion for various living situations. Ginny is in great health-she's up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed, and currently undergoing treatment for Lyme disease. Despite her treatment, Ginny maintains a vibrant spirit and a zest for life. Her personality is as captivating as her beautiful appearance. Strong and confident, Ginny thrives on human interaction and eagerly seeks out affection. She generally gets along well with most dogs, making her a great addition to families looking for a companion who enjoys socializing. On walks, Ginny displays a delightful energy; she walks well on a leash but can pull when she gets excited, showcasing her playful nature. She has a basic understanding of commands, demonstrating her eagerness to learn and please. Treat time is a gentle affair for Ginny, as she takes treats with utmost care. Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm.
