About Luna

Luna is a three year old purebred Belgian Malinois. Our current situation is that we're moving and we're afraid that our two males will fight over her. She has been raised with four other dogs and four children all over the age of eleven. We got her closer to COVID times, so she is not properly socialized. We do not know how she would do with younger children. She likes men and women, but is more submissive to men. She is anxious and standoffish to new people, but we believe that is only because she is protective of us. For example when we go to the vet the vet assistant can take her from us by her leash with no issues and she'll follow and be calm with us not there. If we are not around she is calmer. When it comes to other dogs that are not our own she is also standoffish. She has been raised with bigger dogs so if she were with another dog I would recommend slow introductions. She is very protective of us and I think she's fearful of new people and kids. When she does get used to you she'll be the sweetest thing ever! We just want her to go to a good home with someone who will be patient and persistent with her. With more in depth training she will make the perfect companion!
