About Beauford Lewis

Calling all bunny lovers! I am urgently seeking a new home for my beloved bunny, Beau. Beau, otherwise known as Beauford Lewis, is an adorable 2-year-old Dutch neutered male rabbit. He has spent his life living free roam indoors with me and his brother, Tybbie. Sadly, I have had to make the difficult decision to euthanize Tybbie, leaving Beau without his brother and best friend. In the interest of my surviving bun, I have decided to find Beau a new loving home where he can live out his days with another companion bun. Beau is curious, playful and ready to find a new friend. He enjoys head scratches, playing in his mom's dirty clothes pile and relaxing on a nice rug or piece of carpet. While he is friendly, he can be skittish with strangers and prefers the company of other bunnies to other people. He loves to be near his person and eat snacks out of your hand, but does not like to be picked up. He is litter box trained and always thankful to receive a new toy. A companion bun in his new home is a must. Potential adopters must be experienced house bunny owners with one or more bunnies willing to take in a new member of the family. Because Beau can be a bit nervous from time to time, he would do best in a home with older children. Ideally, he will be kept free roam. Ready to let Beau hop into your heart?
