Hi folks'| Our Belgian Malinois, Macey, needs a new place. She is about 3 years old, and is spayed and up to date with all of her vaccinations. We need to move her out because she just isn't quite the right fit for our household. When we found her, she had been homeless for the first few months of her life, and then picked up by a rescue group that we believe abused her while she was in their care. She has been with us for a few years now, getting nothing but love and affection. Unfortunately she comes with some anxiety issues, and a little bit of fear aggression, so while we love her very much, being around two hyper kids and on a property that gets a lot of strange visitors regularly, (delivery people, maintenance people, etc,) really stresses her out. Not to mention she simply can't coexist with our cat. The prey drive is too high. Macey is an absolute sweetheart at the end of the day. Super affectionate. Quite loyal. Good with other dogs and can play for days. She needs a place with a quiet environment and an owner/s who can devote substantial time throughout her day to play time, attention and training. Here with the kids, and an already full household, she's just not getting what she needs, and neither is the other pet we have. You really need to be at least highly familiar with dogs' behavior in general, not necessarily Malinois specifically, but at least dogs, although it would definitely be a bonus if you are familiar with Malinois as well. Please get back to us if you're interested in meeting this beautiful dog.
