Meet Mare, a delightful little girl who is 2 years old and weighs just 8 pounds. While we're not entirely sure of her exact breed, we believe she's a charming mix of Terrier and Chihuahua. Mare's journey has been quite a story; she was on the euthanasia list at a small shelter in Southwest Kansas due to space constraints. Thankfully, she was given a second chance at life! Mare gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and even cats, so she'll thrive in a home with a furry friend to play with. She'll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and have fun. Although she's a bit shy around humans at first, Mare is a keen observer. She tends to hang back and watch other dogs interact with people before she builds up the courage to approach. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to her new surroundings. Mare is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped, making her ready for her forever home. If you're looking for a sweet companion who just needs a little time and love to shine, Mare could be the perfect addition to your family! If you would like to meet Mare, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org.
