Kirby is a twelve week old Chihuahua found on the outskirts of Victorville, with no humans within miles. Our son brought her home. We believe she's all Chihuahua but don't know. She's had her first shot, and is due for her second on October 10th. She tested negative for worms and seems remarkably healthy. She seems physically robust without evident health issues. She's a typical puppy, in terms of energy, though with an 'old soul,' she can be quite quiet and still, though she loves to play. She's very friendly and accommodating with our small family and friends. She is not aggressive. She gets along amazingly well with our 8 year old golden retriever; they play like best buddies after two weeks. She's not aggressive or antagonistic with our two rescued cats. Despite her age, she sleeps quietly through the night. During the day, when we have to leave her alone, she'll lay quietly (contendedly?) alone in her bed. She also loves to cuddle with us while we're watching movies, even starting to gently snore. We've started potty training. She's responding by peeing on a piece of artificial grass (a commercial product), it's still a work in process. Getting outside regularly leads to pooping outdoors. We love her and she would be a great addition to our family, but we've recently lost three of our four parents and need a break. We hope someone with sufficient means and love comes for her.
