About Downtown

#LetsBeHonest very few dogs are excited to enter a shelter and become a new inmate in #DoggyJail :| Most dogs handle the situation well, while others get the #HeebieJeebies the moment they step foot in the door... and it just goes downhill from there once they get locked up in a kennel :( Downtown is a good example of a shy/nervous dog that was very scared and unsettled about being taken to the pound, Downtown was found earlier last week all by himself in the Alamitos Beach area. Once taken to the shelter he became very overwhelmed with all the people, dogs, and scary noises around him... BUT with a little TLC and friendly greeting from some other dogs his #PuppySide quickly came out :) Although no owner ever came forward to claim Downtown, it is nice to see he has the opportunity to be eligible for public adoption as another people & doggy friendly pup!
