About Bandit

This is a 2 year old, Australian cattle dog who is approximately 60 pounds in weight. He is very high in energy and needs a loving home to the right owner. This is a very smart breed and smart dog individually, who does well listening to some commands with the right training. He easily sits and comes back to you even without a lead but definitely needs more training in this area for more competence to be shown by him. Bandit is not neutered, however, shows no signs of aggression with adults or kids He does, however, show signs of resource guarding when he's eating, depending on his circumstances. Well, he does get along with other dogs. He does resource guard around them mostly. Most of these habits came from his previous negligent owner and are things that I have tried my best with the time and resources I have to work on him with. He has improved and has become much better however, he will definitely need training in this area. I have not been bitten by him or felt unsafe, in fact, he sleeps with me in my room sometimes.He is a very friendly dog with kids and with adults and does have a high level of patience with people. He does enjoy running around and playing a lot and loves to play catch.
