About Eli

Eli is 20 pound Boston mix. He's the sweetest, funniest boy; full of comical antics, as well as abundant energy. Eli belongs to my mother, and I'm grieved to say that due to health issues, she's no longer able to properly care for him. Eli would thrive in a home with people/a person who enjoy the great outdoors, or at least a daily walk. As a 10 month old terrier mix, Eli is high energy, so he'll do best with someone who's able to provide consistent training, exercise, and lots of love! He's a delightful boy and brings laughter daily. Eli is house and crate trained, and is good at signaling his need to go outside. Eli loves his toys, and loves playing with his smaller, older counterpart - another Boston. He longs to meet other dogs and pulls toward them when walking on a leash, but this has become to risky for my mother who is in her eighties and struggles with balance and issues of vertigo. This sweet boy wants to explore the world around him; including dogs, trails, creeks, and parks. Second favorite on the list is snuggling with his peeps and making them laugh. Eli would do well with a fenced yard to romp around in. He loves children, but due to his high energy, children over eight would likely be the best fit. All said, he does like to chat and share his opinion, but I've found that redirecting him is relatively easy. He just needs more socialization; dogs, dogs, dogs, and people. He loves to snuggle with his person; chew on bones for long stretches of time; play with his little Boston friend, and has done will whenever I've been able to walk him. He just needs a good home that can accommodate his youthful needs! Eli is the sweetest and I know that with a little training and exercise, he'll make the best dog. Noteworthy to mention: Eli would flourish with a job, too.
