About Greta

Greta is a young dog - guessed to be around 2, but her foster mom feels she may be a bit younger than that. This pup has great eye contact and aims to please. She does tend to have a short attention span and get distracted with that young brain of hers. Once she knows what you want, however, she responds well to her training. Greta is friendly with all people and likes the companionship of other dogs. She is interested in cats, squirrels, rabbits and chickens, but is very responsive to training. Recently her foster mom cleaned the chicken coop with the door wide open and Greta did a great job with the 'wait' command. She will need continued work on her impulse control. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. Our adoption fee is $400 which includes age-appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, and Rabies), neutering, worming, microchipping, and health exam.
