About Remington

We are looking for a new home for Remington (Remi) that gives him more of the space and attention he deserves. He is approx 4 years old and is Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepard. He would need to go to a home where he is the only dog with no small children as he been reactive to our other dogs and small child for resource guarding and we just can't put them at risk anymore and we are all stressed out about it. We have tired separating him but he's just miserable not being around the group. He truly is just a big cuddle bug and loves attention. He has never been an outdoor dog so I'm not sure how he would do living on a farm but if he could come in every night he might like it. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. He does good on a leash and with the right amount of treats he will do just about anything you ask him to do. (He has had formal training and I can provide more info on that to anyone interested in him) He is given medication daily for anxiety and that seems to help quiet everything for him. I am happy to answer any questions about him and willing to help with transportation. I love him so much and this is one of the hardest thing I've had to do but I want him to be happy and live his best life and I'm realizing that might mean not with us.
