About Odie

Hi my name is Kendra lamb and I live in Middletown Ohio. I myself take care of some neighborhood Stray cats along with my own animals. But now I find myself in a situation that I need the right fit for! Unfortunately a family memeber has had relinquish there dog ( that she loves very much). Odie is a in-tact brindle boxer pit mix Male who just turned 2 years old. He's a very lovable dog but because he was kicked and abused( not by my family member), he's very sensitive to being yelled at. I have now had him for 3 months but unfortunately I cannot keep him because of my senior cattle dog Sheba and the fact that I'm only supposed to have one dog per my landlord. Odie needs someone very special that can work through his emotional issues. He's also he's very very playful and needs room to run and play. He's good with dogs other than my Sheba not being so good with him because she is a senior dog with cancer and doesn't like his hyperness of wanting to play all the time LOL. I have tried to find him a right spot, someone that would give Odie the love and time and training he needs but have failed. Since he's been with me I have lavished him with the love he deserves. He's absolutely addicted to his toys. He has problems with strangers but not all. Here lately I have witnessed when he barks through the window when he sees strangers, then I would try to calm him down he would turn around and bark at me. I just figured it's cuz he gets going and can't calm down, if you know what I mean. If a special someone could find it in their heart to take Odie in, I would be forever grateful to know that he has a chance to have the best life he deserves!
