R2-2.5 year old Purebred Smooth Coated Jack Russell Terrier- an absolute sweetheart. House trained: Uses Doggie-Door: Loves his crate for chill out time: A great friend to our 18 year old neuterer JRT: Plays and runs w/the Border Collie. Comes when called, stays, sits (needs lease work update) can be left home for several hours. Has never destroyed property. Does have a VERY STRONG prey drive- and will chase cars and 18-wheeler gas trucks if he escapes the fence area. A fenced yard is an absolute requirement. A snuggle bunny. Uses doggy steps. Loves to ride in the car. OUR CHALLENGE- our 7 year old neutered 150 male Rottweiler Mobility Service Dog (who R2 got along with fine) was killed by a run away truck in our own yard 3- months ago. I have had a Rottweiler dog in my life consistently since 1980. & a Mobility Service Rottweiler since I broke my back in 2015. For the past 6 weeks we have had our new male Rottweiler puppy. R2 & the pup got along super well-until the pup was 12 weeks old. R2 can no longer 'win' the playing-games as the pup overwhelms him with his size and force. neuterer R2, a gentle soul, has been injured by the puppy just playing- and he now cry's when he sees the puppy coming his way. This situation will not improve for 2 years or more as the puppy matures. -PLEASE NOTE -- UINTAH BASIN UTAH PLACEMENT ONLY-NO EXCEPTIONS. R2 needs a PERFECT REHOMING PLACEMENT: Grandparents and retired folks are best. NB: He has been great with older children. When tested with cats, he ignored them. Please contact
