Lurch is a sweet boy who loves everyone, people and dogs alike! He's very friendly and non-aggressive. He came to us as a stray and has been with us for about 2 months now. During this time he has been neutered, received his shots, and has had a full round of worming medication. His last vet visit gave him a clean bill of health, including a testing negative for worms. Lurch is house-trained and a quick learner. He even waits for you to say 'eat' before going to his food bowl or taking a treat! While he's an absolute sweetie, he does have a small challenge with submissive peeing, but we've found that using gentle, encouraging techniques has helped him tremendously. If you continue using this gentle approach along with positive reinforcement then you will see that this is not a problem. He would be best suited for someone who can to ensure he feels secure and loved. We get a lot of drop offs in my area and in order for me to continue helping those that come to me I need to find a forever home for Lurch. Sadly he was not a match with our other dog (not Lurch's doing) so he is not ideal placement for us long term, but I know he will thrive in the right home.
