About Shelby Girl

Shelby is a one and a half year old staffie who came to Moore Love Project 6 months ago. She is UTD on all vaccines and has been spayed since being with us. She loves to play and does well with male dogs, though may be too much for small dogs, as she does play rough. She currently lives with 2 other full size males and 2 medium female dogs. She does attempt to assert dominance and may show aggression with other females. Due to this, Shelby girl would do well as a single pup or with male dogs. She also currently lives with farm animals including bunnies, chickens, etc. She does well with them and does not dig into enclosures or pay them any mind. Shelby LOVES CAR RIDES and rides well in the backseat (mostly sleeps/lays down). Her favorite hobbies include swimming in the nearby lake and trips for ice cream. She has been fostered with the Development Director's own family since her arrival and she really is the sweetest girl who just wants to be with her people. Shelby is crate trained and responds well to commands/prompts. She is food motivated and learns quickly. Shelby is great with people and children though may knock over small children or toddlers. Shelby would do best with a family who can spend time with her, play in the backyard, walk her, take her on adventures, etc. If you are looking to add a short and stubby snuggle hippo to your family, please contact us :)
