While out searching for our lost Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) on August 4th, we found this super-friendly young white Husky male dog that was extremely hot, starving and alone in a grass field several miles outside of Soap Lake, WA. We knew we couldn't keep him on our farm because of our abundance of prey-type animals for which we have LGDs to protect (alpacas, Boer goats, free range chickens, feral cats). We couldn't (wouldn't!) just leave him to starve, so we brought him home as a temporary solution to his situation. Despite an extensive month-long search process, no owners have been found for this young white Husky male that we now call 'White Fang'. We've taken really good care of him here, although we absolutely cannot keep him. He gets 2 long walks on a long lead in our rangeland pasture each day, lots of TLC, a few baths, and removal of cheatgrass heads that were embedded under the skin on his chest and sides. After a month, White Fang was neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed at the Ephrata Vet Clinic. He is very much ready to spend time with you and become permanent part of your family! Please contact me if you are interested in him, have an active lifestyle and a large, fenced yard to spend time with him in. He's a wonderful dog, and he's ready for the next happy phase of his life!
