He is a very loving dog but is not good with other animals around his food. He has been good with our small female dog but we feed them separately. He does okay with kids but gets excited around them and might try to jump and he seems uncomfortable around babies. Other than that he is very good. His dew claws do get overgrown pretty fast and need to be cut regularly or they will grow into his toe pad.
