Meet Nora - MN Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue. Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia. All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit. Our Adoption fee is $425.00, transport fee included, for a single dog adoption. All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Nora is currently with foster in the Mpls MN area. We are currently accepting applications for Nora. Nora is a 4-year-old English Bulldog who has been released from an area breeding facility. Her DOB is 05.17.2020. Nora is a gentle, quiet girl. She weighs approximately 55#. Her coloring is Red/Cinnamon. Since she has just been released from a breeding facility the world and outdoors is a whole new environment to her. She loves all humans and especially children. She is tolerates other dogs for short periods of time. She has attended daycare and frequents dog parks and does well, but at home, she would love to be Queen of Her Own Castle. She wants her human parents to herself. She now has the opportunity to run in a fenced yard during the day. She is very friendly and loves human attention We are looking for a home with a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Nora acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Nora to acclimate to the changes in her life. Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application.
