He weighs 41 pounds and is heartworm negative. He was found wandering around alone and no one came for him. He is in our full shelter and he needs a home quickly! Alfonso is a sweet boy. He hangs out on his bed with his comfy blanket and his toy. He is a little 'talkative' when he first meets you though. Not to worry as it's just his way of letting you know he wants your time and attention. He is a friendly dog and he does want to be friends. Alfonso welcomed me right into his space. He was eager to show me his stuffed toy and he pranced around with it showing off. Alfonso welcomed all of my attention and pets. He leaned in close to my legs for back scratches and ear scrubs. He gave me plenty of tail wags and some kisses. He is an affectionate and sweet boy who wants to love and to be loved back. Alfonso is smart, he knows to sit for treats and he takes them gently from your hand. This good boy hopes you will give him a chance to really get to know him.
